Our passion for caregiving stems from the empathy and heart wrenching concern for seniors and vulnerable individuals we saw over the years facing recurrent hospitalizations due to frequent falls and lack of proper care at home. Their frequent hospital stays compromised their quality of life. Basic daily self-care tasks such as grooming, housekeeping became burdensome and unsafe practices to them. We also had patients in our care whose fear of living independently was heightened by the fragmented commitment of loved ones in their care process due to distance and other divided responsibilities. Consequently, neglect seeped in, precipitating preventable accidents and avoidable complications, rendering the population an increasing statistic of revolving door hospitalizations.
